on a deep love for film, a legacy inherited from our father, a producer and distributor. This passion drives us to create films that resonate with audiences, bringing bold narratives to life with a uniquely human and emotional perspective.
Our productions have been showcased at top international festivals, including Berlin, Sundance and San Sebastián, earning numerous awards and recognition. Our films have also reached global audiences through platforms like HBO, Amazon Prime, Mubi, Movistar+, RTVE and Filmin. Throughout our journey, six of our productions have been nominated for the Goya Awards.
At Solita Films, we believe in the power of cinema to move, inspire and transform. Our mission is to craft films that leave a lasting impact, stories that are not only seen but deeply felt.
feature films, we have remained committed to developing distinctive, thoughtprovoking stories. Our first feature, “Sin Fin” (2018), earned a Goya nomination for Best New Director and multiple accolades at the Málaga Film Festival. In 2019, we co-produced “El despertar de las hormigas”, a Berlinale Forum selection and a Goya nominee for Best Ibero-American Film. In 2023, we premiered “La Pecera” at Sundance and “Alemania” at San Sebastián, both receiving critical acclaim.
Looking ahead, we ‘ll release theatrically the feature documentary “Hija del Volcán”, premiered at Seminci, and “El Guardián”, a Spanish-Mexican coproduction directed by two times nominated for the Mexican Ariel awards Nuria ibáñez Castaneda, and the short film “Instrucciones para cocinar un pollo bajo tierra”.
In 2025, we are working on the post-production of Yo No Moriré de Amor, a co-production with one of the leading independent production and distribution labels, Elastica Films, and we will be shooting "Hermanas", also co-produced with Elastica Films and Gariza, the company behind “20,000 Species of Bees”. We will also be shooting the movies "March 14" and "3 Ages".
